Contrary to common belief, immigration drives economic demand and creates jobs. Studies show that immigrant workers help grow industries, benefiting both U.S.-born workers and the broader economy. During a recent immigration crackdown, researchers found that for every 100 migrant workers who were deported, nine fewer jobs existed for U.S. workers - and U.S. workers' wages also slightly decreased. It's time to recognize the positive role immigration plays in our economy.
